Do I need a boating licence?
Yes: to skipper the boat you need the Spanish navigation licence (the “titulín”) or a higher qualification.
If you do not have one, you can get it with us in a single day. And if you would rather not take the helm, book a skipper (price on request).
What is included in the price?
The boat to yourselves for the hours you book, insurance for the boat and everyone on board, the safety briefing, cleaning, and our team taking you in and out of the marina.
Fuel is extra: you pay on your return, only for what you have used.
Can I bring food and drinks?
Of course. Bring whatever you like to eat and drink on board; ideally nothing in glass.
The only thing that cannot come aboard is pets.
What if the weather is bad?
If the sea is not on our side, you choose: we move your trip to another day or refund everything you have paid.
Can I cancel?
- More than 48 hours before: free.
- Between 48 and 24 hours before: 50 % is charged.
- Less than 24 hours before: the full amount is charged.
How far can I go?
You have around 25 miles of coastline, always within 2 miles of land. In summer, keep clear of the swimming areas marked with yellow buoys and stay more than 200 metres from the beach.
Entering other marinas is not allowed.
When should I arrive?
Fifteen minutes before departure, at our berth in Benalmádena Marina. We use that time to check the boat with you and go over the essentials.
If you arrive late, the rental time still runs.
